Job Title: Account Officer
Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Job Summary:
- Preparing accounts and tax returns
- Monitoring spending and budgets
- Auditing and analyzing financial performance
- Financial forecasting and risk analysis
- Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits
- Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
- Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
- Keeping account books and systems up to date.
- Form-M computation and Forex transaction
- LC / Bills computation and financial accounting statements
- Liaison with FIRS & LIRS as well as good knowledge of Insurance
- General ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Cash book summary and bank reconciliation.
Requirements:
- B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Economics or any related field of study
- 4 – 6 years relevant working experience in a fast paced environment
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Proven experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
