Important things you must do before you enter JAMB exam hall

Before you enter the JAMB exam hall, there are several important things you must do to ensure a smooth experience and avoid disqualification.

Here’s a quick checklist:

✅ Before the Exam Day:

Print Your JAMB Examination Slip:
- Contains your exam date, time, and venue.
- Make two copies — one to submit and one to keep.
Prepare Valid Identification:
- Typically, your JAMB registration slip, Exam slip reprint and a valid photo ID (e.g., NIN slip).
Know Your Exam Center:
- Visit the center beforehand if possible, so you don’t get lost on that day.
Get the Right Materials:
- 2 passport photographs (not needed now, just in case).
- Biro or pencil (sometimes needed for rough work, though JAMB is CBT).
- A face mask (if required by current health guidelines).

✅ On the Exam Day (Before Entering the Hall):

Arrive Early:
- Get to the venue at least 1 hour before your exam time.
Dress Appropriately:
- Avoid clothes that may be considered suspicious (e.g., hats, sunglasses, baggy clothes).
- No electronic devices, smart watches, or bags.
Submit Necessary Documents:
- Submit one copy of your JAMB slip at the entrance if required.
Biometric Verification:
- JAMB will scan your fingerprint to verify your identity. No fingerprint = no exam.
Listen to Instructions:
- Follow the guidelines given by JAMB officials strictly.
