More Npower beneficiaries needed
This is a great news to all yet to be Npower beneficiaries as President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development to increase the beneficiaries of the NPower program to five million.
N-Power is a government-sponsored youth program in the National Social Investment Program, which provides a platform for the acquisition and development of skills by hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries.
Now there is room and opportunity for those who weren’t shortlisted.
The NPower program has become big and popular in the sense that everyone wants to implement it and the beneficiaries also benefit from it.
The program is designed for Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35 and aims to help young Nigerians acquire and improve life skills to become problem-solving strategies in their community, so as to help them become newcomers to the business at home and around the world.
An NPower job is a job as per its description and the money earned by the N-power beneficiary is paid for doing their work, and the beneficiary who does not follow the instructions will be determined out of position.
For any NPower volunteer to place his or her job correctly, he or she must use the tools in the NPower Work gadget. This is why the government has provided essential items that all volunteers should do their best work for.
Experiences of Batch A and B volunteers indicate that some individuals may not be selected for the npower position.
These categories of people are:
• Those gainfully employed under any Government or private sector
• Those who are benefiting from other government programmes like NYSC, Nexit etc.
• Those who failed to follow up on the recruitment instructions for instance: participating in the NASIMS test and other subsequent proceedings.
• Those who applied but did not have the required documents to back their application.
• Exited Npower Volunteers.
