1. Professor: Ph.D. with a minimum of twelve (12) years’ post-qualification experience
and a strong record of scholarly publications and academic leadership.
2. Reader: Ph.D. with a minimum of ten (10) years’ post-qualification experience and
evidence of substantial research output and teaching experience.
3. Senior Lecturer: Ph.D. with at least six (6) years’ post-qualification experience and
evidence of scholarly publications.
4. Lecturer I: Ph.D. with at least three (3) years’ post-qualification experience.
5. Lecturer II: Ph.D. or Master’s Degree with relevant teaching/research experience.
6. Assistant Lecturer: Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
7. Graduate Assistant: First Class or Second-Class Upper Division Bachelor’s Degree.
