1. Executive Chairman – AIRS 001
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field
- Professional membership: FCA/FCCA/FCNA/FCTI
- Minimum of 20 years’ experience, with at least 5 years at senior leadership level
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic leadership of AIRS and achievement of IGR targets
- Digital transformation of tax administration
- Tax compliance, enforcement, and governance
- Advisory role to the Governor on revenue matters
2. Director (Direct Tax) – AIRS 002
Key Requirements:
- Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field
- Professional certification (FCA/FCCA/FCNA/FCTI)
- 15–20 years’ experience in tax administration
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversight of PAYE, Direct Assessment, WHT, and CGT
- Compliance enforcement and audit coordination
- Revenue performance monitoring and reporting
3. Director (Informal Sector & Non‑Tax) – AIRS 003
Key Requirements:
- Degree or HND in relevant discipline
- 15–20 years’ experience in tax or revenue administration
- Strong knowledge of informal sector operations
Core Responsibilities:
- Informal sector enumeration and taxation
- Harmonisation of levies and non‑tax revenues
- Stakeholder engagement with unions and MDAs
4. Director of Internal Operations – AIRS 004
Key Requirements:
- Degree or HND in Business Administration, Accounting, or Social Sciences
- Professional accounting qualification (FCA/FCCA)
- 15–20 years’ experience
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversight of HR, Finance, Administration, and IT
- Budget management and internal governance
- Operational efficiency and risk management
5. Director of Compliance & Enforcement – AIRS 005
Key Requirements:
- Degree or HND in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Public Administration
- Professional certification (CITN, ICAN/ANAN, ACCA, or BL)
- 12–15 years’ experience
Core Responsibilities:
- Statewide tax audit and enforcement
- Debt recovery and prosecution of defaulters
- Integrity of compliance and TCC processes
