Through the Imo State Ministry of Digital Economy and E-Governance, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma (CON), Executive Governor of Imo State, we are advancing our mission to equip Imo youths with world-class digital skills that drive innovation, productivity, and self-reliance.
Key Registration Details:
Registration Opens: Monday, 10th November 2025
Registration Closes: Sunday, 30th November 2025
Platform: All registrations will be done digitally via the MyImo App.
Requirements:
National Identification Number (NIN)
Personal and active email address
Creation of an Imo Social Security Benefits Number (IMSSBN) via the MyImo App
Every Imolite is welcome to apply! This program is merit-based, transparent, and fully digital, with 99% of all activities (registration, classes, certification, and graduation) conducted online.

Step-by-step registration process
- Download the app: Get the My Imo App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Register on the app: Create an account on the My Imo App and follow the instructions carefully.
- Register for IMSSBN code: Find and complete the IMSSBN code registration section within the My Imo App. You should receive an email with your IMSSBN code, which may take up to an hour to arrive (check your spam folder).
- Complete SkillUp Imo registration: Once you have your IMSSBN code, return to the My Imo App, go to the SkillUp Imo Cohort 4 registration tab, and complete the form.
- Confirm registration status: You can verify if your registration was successful by visiting www.myimoapp.com, clicking on the “SkillUp Imo Cohort 4 Registration” link, and checking for your details and a “PENDING” status message.
Important information
- Registration deadline: The final deadline for registration is November 30, 2025.
- Eligibility: Applicants must have a valid Voter’s Card, NIN, Local Government of Origin Certificate, and a valid Gmail address.
- Confirmation of registration: A successful registration does not guarantee automatic admission; it only confirms that you have completed the first step.
